Hot Water

The hot water that you use every day to take a shower has been heatedwithout necessity of using any
source of non renewable energy. It haswarmed by two solar badges of 1,7 m² installed in the roof of the lastplant together with a deposit for their warehouse of 300 liters.Everything assures you to have hot water
during the whole year and alsoto avoid the production of 8 tons of CO2 (dioxide of carbon) that would bethe stocking during a year of a conventional heater. To make you an idea,it is double of CO2 what emits a car.

Save Water

The cisterns installed in our two bathrooms have a double button. If you only urinate, press the small button ( 3 liters), otherwise press the big one ( 6 liters). With it, you will be saving 25 daily liters.

Alwaysremember not to use the toilet like a paper-basket, please close thefaucet when you washes your teeth or shave, and it is that Canariassuffers shortage of water for already 40 years mainly for:

• The irregular and scarce precipitations, annually.

•The great quantity of rain water that gets lost in the sea; due to thehigh slope of the land.

• The not existence of rivers neither permanent currents.

Electric Power

Besides everything it in the house has settled all the bulbs of lowconsumption. In total 52 bulbs exist of low consumption (of 7 or 15Wattios) distributed by the whole house. With each one of them we will besaving during all their useful life a total of 137 liters of petroleum or156 kg of coal.
